Classes Offered Summer 2025
NYS G.E.D classes
Emphasizes skills related to adult literacy needs, educational goals, and personal interests. Real-world materials are used to enhance the educational experience of the adult learner. Adults enrolled in BE classes can begin with basic literacy skills and advance to high school equivalency preparation and even vocational training.
English as a Second Language
ESL instruction teaches students basic language skills, as well as the academic and civic skills they need to navigate everyday life through speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Instructional themes include work, family, citizenship, and topics based on student interests. Once you have completed all levels of ESL, students are given the opportunity to move onto basic education classes and HSE preparation classes.

MicroSoft Office??
An introductory course that provides the basics of computer software use. Students will learn the fundamentals of the Microsoft office suite, practice typing skills and learn how to present data in an effective manner. Other software platforms that complement office use will also be introduced to students. With hands-on learning, students will gain confidence in the skills they need to obtain better employment and navigate their lives easier.
